# Add whoisbrowsing to Webflow

To see live visitors on a Webflow site, paste one script tag into Site settings, Custom code, in the Footer code section, then publish. Webflow's help lists site-wide custom code as a paid-plan feature, so check your plan.

## Your snippet

```html
<script src="https://live.whoisbrowsing.com/s.js" data-site="YOUR_SITE_ID" defer></script>
```

## Steps

1. Open your project, then Site settings, then Custom code.
2. Paste the snippet into the Footer code box (before the closing body tag).
3. Save, then publish the site. Custom code goes live only when you publish, so test on the published site.

## Plan requirements

Webflow's help says site-wide custom code in head and body tags is available on paid plans, meaning a Workspace plan or an active Site plan. Read the details on [Webflow's custom code page](https://help.webflow.com/hc/en-us/articles/33961357265299-Custom-code-in-head-and-body-tags), and check your plan if the Custom code section is locked. Webflow also notes its support cannot troubleshoot custom code.

## Page-level alternative

Webflow also has custom code in Page settings. Use it only if you want the live view on one page. For every page, use the site-wide box.

## Content-Security-Policy note

If your site sends a Content-Security-Policy header, allow the script and its live connection: `script-src https://live.whoisbrowsing.com` and `connect-src wss://live.whoisbrowsing.com`. Most Webflow sites send no such header, so you can usually skip this.

## Verify

1. In whoisbrowsing, click Watch for your site.
2. Open your site in a Chrome Incognito or Safari private window. Your own normal browser is never counted, so a private window is how you test.
3. You should see yourself as a coloured cursor on your real page, and one line for you in the side panel.

Each website is separate: `www.` and the bare domain count as the same website, but localhost and production never mix. If you see nothing, check that the site ID matches the one shown for this site.

## If you see nothing on Webflow

- **Did you publish?** Saving custom code is not enough; it reaches visitors after you publish.
- **Is it in Site settings?** Code in one page's settings runs on that page only.
- **Which address did you open?** Your `webflow.io` staging address and your custom domain are different websites in whoisbrowsing. Watch the one you opened, or create a site for the other.
- **Is the tag in the page source?** Open the source in the private window and search for `live.whoisbrowsing.com`.

## Let your AI agent do it

> Add whoisbrowsing (live visitor view) to this project. Follow https://whoisbrowsing.com/SKILL.md exactly.

This prompt works when your site's code lives in a project an agent can edit. On Webflow, where you edit the site in the browser, paste the tag yourself as shown above; an agent can still create the site for you and hand you the tag. See [install with an AI agent](/install/ai-agent).
